Return & Exchange Policy

Your satisfaction is our priority.

At Coloursbay, each product we supply goes through strict quality check from multiple hands ensuring accurate measurements, correct sizes and designs, defect-free designs or prints, undamaged, unused and not worn out condition.

A. Returns or Exchange

In rare cases where you wish to return or exchange a full or partial order — either because the order is not as per the specifications or the product did not meet the desired expectations — you may place a request by sending us an email at info@coloursbay.com with:

Your order number in the subject line
Images of the particular areas of the item where there is an issue
A brief write-up describing the problem

Request must be submitted within 7 days from the date of receipt of the order.

Note: Products below GHS 100.00 or bought on Sale are not returnable or exchangeable unless defective.

1. When Product is Defective or Damaged

1.1 Refund Policy

1.1.1

In all instances of returns covered under clause 1.2, the customer shall get a full refund against the returned products.

1.1.2

Discounts on a bulk order valued GHS 1,000.00 or above shall be adjusted on a pro-rata basis and shall be applicable on the actual net value of the order after return.

1.1.3

Coloursbay shall arrange pickup from your delivery location. Pick-up location has to be the same as per the shipping address. If our logistics partner is not able to cover the pick-up location, the customer shall return the package by Ghana Post, and share a scanned copy of the receipt via email/WhatsApp. Coloursbay shall refund shipping charges as per the Ghana Post receipt.

1.1.4

All refunds are by default processed as gift cards of equivalent value which a customer can use to buy products on www.coloursbay.com for 3 months. If a customer chooses otherwise, the refund can be transferred back into the source (pre-paid) or bank account (Cash-On-Delivery).

1.2 Covered as Defect/Damage

Substantially inconsistent visual appearance in terms of print, texture, size or colors visible right at the time of first unpacking
Fabric or product is abruptly torn, damaged and not usable
Structure is loose in part or areas, or damaged or torn
Weight per meter varies more than 25%

1.3 NOT Covered as Defect/Damage

Color reproduction on digital screens varies — there may be a gap between what you see online vs. in real life
Some fabric types suffer inherent color bleeding for a few washes — instructions are mentioned on each product page
Any item ordered below GHS 100.00 or 2 meters of fabric doesn't qualify for return

1.4 Exchange

1.4.1

Any request for exchange shall be fulfilled subject to the availability of the product in inventory on the date of receipt of the returned order/products.

1.4.2

Exchange of products shall be calculated on the net payable price of the item(s) and not on MRP.

1.5 Conditions of Returned Products

1.5.1

The tags on the product should be intact.

1.5.2

The product should be unwashed, unused, unstitched and in an undamaged condition.

1.5.3

The item needs to be returned along with the original packaging.

1.5.4

Sale products will not be returnable or exchangeable except in case of defect.

2. When Customer Changed Their Mind or Did Not Like the Product

2.1 Refund Policy

In all such instances when a customer changed their mind or the product didn't meet their set expectations — and they wish to return part or whole of the order (not applicable in case of fabrics measuring below 2 meters and items costing GHS 100.00 and below) — Coloursbay shall accept returns for the rest of the fabrics, given that returned products qualify the conditions mentioned in clause 2.2.

In such cases, the customer shall bear the full shipping charges, and there shall be no reverse pick-up facility. The refund shall be processed within 5–7 days from the date of receipt of the returned order back at the shipping source.
